Basically all R33 skylines were shite and not very quick as standard and that from a skyline website. Max was 250bhp and in a heavy car means not very quick.

On that site they say the GTR has a quoted figure of 280bhp but most are 302bhp.

yeah well i was spanking a Ferrari F430 down the M1 yesterday on the way to Gti festival. For nearly 5 miles i sat about 2 cars in front.

But yes it was in the 40mph specs zone though

only read the first page so it might be on the 2nd (if their was one) but how come it didnt mention the V-Spec ? i though that model was top of the range??? or am i completly off course??

Yes V spec is top spec, there just a little bit lighter, stiffer suspension and about 20bhp more.

Was the liner modified? As standard a r33 gts is 130hp, the 2.5 turbo version is still only 190hp - and thats when it left the factory 10 years ago! They also weigh in at 1.5 tonne!

i had good plays with R33's years ago, in a lightweight Impreza STi v-limited (360bhp)

280 bhp + 1.6 ton skyline
300 bhp cupra 1.2 ton

The skyline will be over 300bhp and isn't relying on a huge amount of NOS.

Aye problem with NOS is your only 300bhp for so long, where as with big turbo's you have the power at all times.

yeah but it wasnt was it it was a gts t single turbo and i honestly reckon i didnt need nos....LOL i knew this would bring em out, when will people learn its not the badge its power to weight

i get about four mins out of a properly filled bottle,just a fantastic feeling leaving the skyline,tbh it wasnt that quick it would cream a standard ibiza tho
