Well done? Your having a laugh.

Was the liner modified? As standard a r33 gts is 130hp, the 2.5 turbo version is still only 190hp - and thats when it left the factory 10 years ago! They also weigh in at 1.5 tonne!

Was thinking it was a GTR and not a GTS ! which is 280BHP, but the later models came with a tweaked ECU @ 302BHP !!!

no disrespect, an R33 GTR would totally waste you.
2.6 twin turbo 280ps+ with 4wd, all electronically controlled.

i had good plays with R33's years ago, in a lightweight Impreza STi v-limited (360bhp)

Oh dear someone else blinded by stats and 4WD.

By thw time that 280bhp has gone through the 4wd system he will have about 210bhp left.

The skyline weighs a tonne. I'd back a ko3s ibiza on a rolling start everytime

eh?

An R33 GTS has about 150bhp, and the turbo model ( which is likely to be the only one you'll see imported over here ) is over 200bhp. I'm sure it's about 250bhp from memory.

Don't forget that Nissan MASSIVELY underestimate the bhp of the skyline models due to bhp regulations in Japan. A Skyline R33 GTR is "officially" rated at 280bhp. But most from the factory are more like 350bhp+

If you can take a skyline he/she's not trying. RWD and more power will always see them pull away if the driver is giving it some. And then you can wave goodbye properly when you get to some corners...

I know of a fair few non turbo 2.0 liners, all gts's. The book figure on a gts is 130hp, regardless of what they really are.

The 2.5 gts-t is the turbo lump, offically knocking out 190hp but as you said probably more.

Either way, the ibiza should slaughter them without issue. The gtr would make the ibiza look very silly.

Nope. R32, R33 and R34 all employ Nissans ATTESA drive train system.

All the GTRs are rear wheel drive until the computer senses it needs to be 4 wheel drive.

The R33 GTS is a 250bhp (Nissan figure) rear wheel drive car, which is much more of a drivers car than the GTR when pushed to the limits on track.

As far as im aware only the gts-t 'M' left with a factory declared 250hp. All the others had 190hp.
