Having my leon pd140 mapped ive decided that ill put the higher quality fuel in. But who uses what and what do you find? So far ive noticed that under full throttle acceleration the v-power seems a bit more smokey and the bp seems to have a bit more low down shove (dunno if im imagining this though) I know the companies make a lot of claims about what they can do but what are people experiences?

some may say lala land....
you'll be safe enough on regular supermarket diesel and a dose of millers each time
i have been using it for a while, and noticed smooth engine and no black smoke after 3or4 doses. now use every other tank

Not telling
I used to use Millers every tankful but I don't buy it any more as I'm not convinced it does anything of note. I didn't find it any smoother than using BP, Esso, or Shell fuel and doing a Liqui Moly diesel purge every 10k. As for supermarket fuel...no disrespect or anything but each to their own.

I have read somewhere that V Power/Ultimate type diesel fuels smoke less than normal diesel due to their ingredients. Also that they have advanced additive packs built in. I might be wrong but I now feel that Millers is somewhat of a placebo. I say that after using many many bottles of the stuff over the past few years. If I feel I want a cetane boost/fuel pep up I fill up with Vpower or Ultimate.
