i've had a PM detailing kwv100 (or somat similar) but i've also been told you can do this with the vag.com. anyone live in the N.Wales area, i'm in bangor and myself and a friend (also requiring these settings to be changed) are willing to travel.

I'm in Wrexham and have VagCom, and trust me it isn't possible on my version. I've been told it needs to be run with a serial cable running DOS instead of USB through windows.
I've got the KVW100 and for the money its very very good value. Just plug it in and leave it 30 seconds. Job done!

The KVW is only good for one car. they state it on the website, and belive me i tried it on a few other cars. Once it's done it's job it's a paper weight, but it's well worth the money IMO.
Vag com is a very good bit of kit and if you don't play with everything on it then it can be a usefull tool, but if you mess with the wrong things it can do alot of damage, some of it irreperable.
If you can afford it and would have use for it then i say get it.
Worth looking over the rosstech website for more info before you commit.
