can you get your car serviced somewhere other than the dealership and still keep your warranty? theres a garage thats a bit closer to me than the dealers, and much cheaper too, they specialise in vag servicing, so was planning on going there, but was worried about the warranty aspects, whether or not seat will still carry out any ewarranty work if i havent had the car serviced by them. also, i thought if i was taking it there i wouldnt have to worry about removing any mods, as they arent going to be carrying out warranty work later so it wont matter? anyone know the score on this? thanks

Your car can be serviced anywhere in accordance with the maintenance manual.Any garage you use needs to be vat registered and use the proper parts.
