Please do.... I can't find any sub on/off on mine and I am sure my sub should be louder than it is..... So chances are it may be switched off (or I am deaf).not vcds, the menu on the infotainment screen.
Might have to venture outside and look....
Have you opened the boot and listened to the sub? You'll definitely notice if it's alive or not.

I turn it all the way to level 9 and it doesn't seem to make much difference at all.

it is pluged into the lead in the boot, isn't it?
Yes it is..... Probably just me expecting far more than I should from what is a pretty small sub after all.it is pluged into the lead in the boot, isn't it?
I have VCDS but could not find where to do it.
I could change boot logo on screen. It is done in information elect. address 5f ling coding byte 18. But none of the options enabled seat sound logo. I appreciate if somebody can tell me place of seat sound coding.

you're right.turn on radio, "set up" button, "sound set up", and there's a slider for the subwoofer.
Also a set of sliders under manual setup for general sound - as I AM a bit deaf, mine are all turned to max (no subtlety here).
didn't want to go to car because every time I get in it I want to drive it.....not allowed to do that till tomorrow, doctors orders.
sorry I couldn't help you, Brett
Thanks for this great info. I tried but no success. It did not bring logo on boot. Maybe there is another setting. By the way, do you have navigatiın system on your car? If so I wonder gateway installation list of VCDS. When you connected and run auto scan what gateways are listed in list? Is there 37 - Navigation option ?
Thanks.
I do have navigation, its standard on the Cupra.
No module on address 37, everything is done through information electrics (5F) If i'm not mistaken module 37 was the old nav units used in the Mk 2's.
