not vcds, the menu on the infotainment screen.
Might have to venture outside and look....
Please do.... I can't find any sub on/off on mine and I am sure my sub should be louder than it is..... So chances are it may be switched off (or I am deaf).

I turn it all the way to level 9 and it doesn't seem to make much difference at all.

Have you opened the boot and listened to the sub? You'll definitely notice if it's alive or not.

you're right.turn on radio, "set up" button, "sound set up", and there's a slider for the subwoofer.
Also a set of sliders under manual setup for general sound - as I AM a bit deaf, mine are all turned to max (no subtlety here).
didn't want to go to car because every time I get in it I want to drive it.....not allowed to do that till tomorrow, doctors orders.
sorry I couldn't help you, Brett

Recently had a puncture ( :censored: ) , unplugged sub to fit spare, didn't plug it back in till puncture was fixed, plugged it back in when stereo was on ( low level, I'm a thoughtful neighbour ;) ) and you can really notice a difference.

I have VCDS but could not find where to do it.
I could change boot logo on screen. It is done in information elect. address 5f ling coding byte 18. But none of the options enabled seat sound logo. I appreciate if somebody can tell me place of seat sound coding.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Cihazimdan Gonderildi

I've just grabbed the coding for my 5F module, which has SEAT Sound installed, take a look and see if there are any differences from your own.

Coding: 04730001FF0A000021111101000800002F0202060100010046

Thanks for this great info. I tried but no success. It did not bring logo on boot. Maybe there is another setting. By the way, do you have navigatiın system on your car? If so I wonder gateway installation list of VCDS. When you connected and run auto scan what gateways are listed in list? Is there 37 - Navigation option ?

Thanks.

Bring subwoofer level to middle you will see it performs better.

I do have navigation, its standard on the Cupra.

I found an information saying that seat sound logo on boot can be enabled with Green Engineering Menu. So I enabled green engineering menu using VCP but there are 10s of settings and I could not find anything related with seat sound. Does anybody has any info about this?

Hi. Can you share adaptation map of the 5F Information Elect Ecu ? You can get this by vcds > Applications > Controller Channler Map > Controller Adddress: 5F | Adaptation and CSV file selected. It will give you a CSV file dump of adaptations.

Warm Regards.

Does anyone know how to install a sub with a built in amp to the original head unit in a cupra 290 mk3 2016.
The sub is a vibe black air vented v12.
