It looks very easy too and no extra amp is needed if already have the navigation system. Im going to give this a try anyone else want to chime in before I order the parts? ;)

Here are the part numbers:

5F0035382 Subwoofer
5F0035397 Centre Speaker
N10666302 Screws (for centre)
4E0971942 Connector for sub (audi part number)

That list of parts is only about 140 Euro

I wonder if the loom is already in the car

I don't think it looks too hard, apart from cutting the centre console for the speaker.

I bet it aint tho
So how does it cost an extra £250 from new then ?
Fitting? or the 18" space-saver wheel u need over none or the 16" which iam presuming wont fit

If you have a spare wheel - yes it will need to be the 18"

BUT if not - the guy seems to have used a foam repair kit holder that will house the sub.

So..

If you've got satnav, you could put an extra speaker into the dash and it'll work with the head unit? Interesting. The standard stereo is not terrible but it's not exactly brilliant either.

I've got a full-sized wheel and a tool-kit in the middle of it so the sub is out.

Not really - you can get the tool holder that fits around the wheel and then stick the sub inside the wheel.

That kit doesn't fit around a full-sized wheel, which I have. It only fits around the space-saver in the hatch. I had to buy a Skoda tool kit to get the right tools in a box that fits inside the wheel.

I'm not that bothered about the sub anyway. The last car had one and it only makes a difference at high volume. Most of the time it's irrelevant.
