Regards using glue to stick badges onto your car, I've been in the same position previously without any stick pads around to stick them back on.
After some hunting around I found that Halfords have sticky adhesive pads in strips which are for refixing badges or bits of body trim/strips. I bought these and cut them to size.
Did a great job and I imagine they won't risk your paint work.
For anyone that's looking they're not beside the rows of stick on chav badges that say stuff like "16V", "V8", "DUB", "TURBO" and "R" (I'm sure that somewhere there's a car with all of them stuck on
). Think they were beside the car maintenance stuff.
