:D Did mine this morning too:thumbup:

Opted to go for the L E O N in the centre and left the wee red TDI in the bottom right.
Removed the SEAT and original LEON.

Was a lot easier than I though it would be to get the letters off, a quick splash of hot water and some fishing line. Thank you please:D

No photo's I'm afraid, took some on my phone but they are appauling and the wife's got the camera down the Falklands at the mo.

Once again, a big thanks to Pabs and his superb leoncupra.co.uk site.:worship:

EDIT: Here's a link to a pic taken on my phone, a wee bit shabby but you get the idea:

CupraUK, are you not tempted to put your Cupra+flag badge over on the right hand side?
After seeing the pics on this thread I'm definately coming round to the idea....

Make that S E A T + 2 0 V T if anyone want them!

It was the first thing i did when i got the car, change the badges...... i just found the back of the Cupra to be littered with an awful amount of needless badges.

The badges are easy to take off, its the glue thats left on the paint-work thats the problem...

After a lot of scrubbing with a sponge and cloth and hot soapy water it comes off but I found a really easy quick way with the 2nd FR badge I took off......Just use a bit of hot water and the wee plastic spatula you get with a George Foreman grill!! ;) It strips the residue of the paintwork and doesnt scratch.

Just a quick dry and spot of polish and good as new, ready for your new badge.

Just used Dental floss and hot water to take the badges off with a "sawing" motion....

Get some pics up with your new badges..:D

Most of the badges like the L E O N, C U P R A, FR, 20VT come with sticky stuff attached to the back.

Others like the Cupra+Flag can come either with the sticky back or clips for the front grille (though this is for the MK2 or 3 Ibiza). I have a spare Cupra+Flag badge with the clips but the clips can be snapped off and the badge then glued to the grill.....

There is a thread (I think on the parts Forum) that lists the part numbers of some of the different badges....

I had to use glue because I reused the badges that were there rather than buy new ones with sticky backs. As Daz said though, it makes it pretty permanent.
