Had the MOT done yesterday. Passed with flying colours, no faults or problems found. SO im gona call my local dealer now and ask about the door handles and cup holder.

Went to local seat dealers and managed to get them to change my door handles and cup holder under warranty. Parts ordered, to be fitted later this week. I actually went down to see them the day my warranty ran out!

No fuss, they were actually really helpful. Only thing they asked was what mileage i had done (30k) and they said fine.

Just got back from SEAT dealer, had the door handles and cup holder replaced. Door handles are all good, cup holder kinda sticking a lil, but think its just the design of it, should wear in soon enough.

So there you have it, it pays to be honest and ask them nicely to change bad parts. Didn't work for me me on my Mk 4 Golf a few years ago when I had the same peeling parts but that was a VW stealer. Seta dealers much nicer.
