Scraped the bottom of my car several times

Hey there

Yesterday I was going to a burial of a relative in the morning (God rest his soul) and we were five in my car. The problem is that the road to the burial place is pretty screwed up with horrible asphalt, cracks and most importantly HUMONGOUS speed bumps. Every time I tried to slow down on the speed bumps or try to swerve right or left in order for the wheels in the back to actually touch, I still scratched the bottom of the car. I wasn't counting but if I am going to take a guess, it probably happened about 10 - 15 times.

Do you guys think I should take the car to the dealership and get it checked out? I am supposed to be replacing the brake pads or w.e they're called anyway so I might go to the dealership today, but I don't want to tell them what happened in case they may say "oh yeah it's pretty screwed up and you have to change so and so", as I said a dozen times in the past I don't trust the dealership over here one bit.

Thanks guys and I appreciate your time.

p.s. I have not experienced anything unusual afterwards but I like to stay on the safe side since I drive on highways to and back from university and I will probably be traveling by car this month so I want everything to be perfect.

I would take it to an independent garage first and just ask if they'll lift it on the ramp for you to take a look underneath

I would expect a few good scrape marks on the exhaust system - it used to bottom out on my R32 when I was two-up coming out of the underground car park where I used to work...
