I'd personally bin the Porsche wheels, get some vRS Spiders and do them BMW Sparkling Graphite. Then lower it. Then spend the wad of cash from the sale of the Porsche wheels on a remap/ARB/312mm brakes whatever you prefer.

Only personally though. Scott if you love being different then maybe the Porsche wheels are for you.

Keep the porsche wheels i say. Why are they going to cost more to get on the car than vrs spiders, all you need now is the adaptors? Either way, it should look good, would'nt worry about looking different, as long as you like it imo. Plus how many vrs's do you see about killie let alone one with vrs spiders.

Indeed! That's what is so good about your old one I keep seeing. It stands out, but isn't brash. I trust you'll make the Furby the same.

Can't help but think though Scott, rather than go for vRS Spiders as winter wheels, why not spray your originals in a wacky colour and put winter tyres on them? Would be cheaper and with 16s being better in snow than 17s it's probably more practical. Just a thought.

im not a big fan of funky coloured wheels, just depends on the look etc of the car. tbh as much as i enjoy the fabia i may only keep it another year and a half or so. kinda fancy an old shape TT like the 1.8 20vt 225. or a petrol of some sort. diesels are good but i miss the noise of a petrol already, will see, i keep telling myself, just lower and wheels on this one to avoid massive spending. can still see me getting a leon mk2 or mk4 cupra or something next, ach who knows, depends on money etc at the time.

Bright wheels not for everyone I am gonna do as I am bored my car being all black and dark wheel never really gets looked at and need to be a bit more girly! Glad you're keeping them good call, surprised your thinking of changing already, you might change your mind when you see the price of tax, insurance and petrol thou it's never gonna go back down with food and everything else we enjoy costing more you gotta be making a fair whack to be able to spend more on running a car.

certainly not earning anything special, tbh its just a thought atm, the sensible option will be too keep the vRS, once i get it lowered and a few wee tweaks i will be happy again. it is a great car though, i know i will have it another year or two. unless my job position changes to enable me to buy better
