Where abouts did you see it mate? Im from the same neck of the woods as you.. I keep my eye out whenever im in bolton.. I keep my eye out for you too when Im going to work (Stockport Pyramid) :)
I saw it on the A34, heading towards Handforth, just off the M60 slip road. If you're ever passing the same place, there's a very good chance you'll see me (or my car) too!

I don't think I've seen you yet either, I do go near the pyramid a few times a week, so surely it's just a matter of time. ;)

It was definitely your car Scott, saw it again today (twice), was on an SE02 plate, had your SEAT Sport sunstrip on it and everything still. Doesn't look any different to when you last sold it to be honest!

It came past me while I was queing, so gave it a nice friendly beep of the horn... no idea if the owner clocked me in the Ibiza or not...

How very odd! I came across this thread by random - but I can confirm I am the owner of SE02SHJ :)

Swapped it in Dec 2010 as I drive to Manchester and back and wanted something more economical than my previous Clio 172.

Yea - he said he was just waiting for his points to clear from his license so that he could get a clio sport.

I'll try and take some pictures when its had a wash (been on holiday for the last 2 weeks) so shes a bit dirty :(

As i've managed to come across this thread - when you had the wheels sprayed, do you have any idea what sort of colour etc it was? Unfortunately i've curbed one of them (almost cried!) and want to get it repaired, but due to the colour I wasnt sure!

All i've done is fit new front speakers, and also an ipod lead :) Its on 49,000 miles now.

Only the one issue - over the last couple of months, sometimes the engine cuts out on me when I come to a stop at a junction, does it a few time a journey (but then on other journeys, its fine). Engine Management light is on due to this. Any potential ideas?

Sorry to pick your brain - i'm just using the opportunity as its so randomly been presented :D

engine cuts out, not a clue mate, check coils? i had put speakers in the front when i owned it, they were great little speakers. not done alot of miles in a year then. they wheels werent sprayed when i owned it, assuming the previous owner hasnt changed them then they were powdercoated an anthrecite sparkle. will be hard to match. definetely get some picks up to i see if its been changed at all.

yea - i'll try and get some pictures for you when its washed.

Yea - apologises, they havent been sprayed, they are still anthracite sparkle - which is why I was so gutted when I kerbed one :(

Except for this slight issue with cutting out, I havent experienced any issues with it :)

Its done almost 9,000 since I got it, pretty much! Comes up absolutely lovely when its washed - needs the front bumper respraying due to some lacquer peel, but still looks mint :)

must be at more than 49000 miles then if you have done 9000 as i sold it with around 43,000 on the clock. if i recall correctly. yeah the front bumper needed painted when i had it as it was scuffed, but didnt have laquer peel then, rear bumper needed doing too. lovely little car so it is. would have kept it if the engine wasnt so small, does it still have the Vxr decal? you mind me asking how much you paid for it from the guy you bought it from, send me a PM with the reply to that if you like. just curious to see how much he got compaired to what i sold it too him for.

It was on 41300ish when I got it :)

Somewhat ironically, after saying there were no issues - its chugged to a halt on the way home from work tonight :( wouldnt go above 40 for the entire journey, and chugged along like a steam train :( Its in the garage being inspected by my dad now!

I didnt actually pay money for it mate - I did a straight swap for my clio 172. I was actually on google trying to find how much replicas are worth right now, when I came across this thread!

Parkers sayings about £1800 - for the car as standard, so i'm guessing maybe £2500-£2700ish? But maybe i'm away with the fairies with that valuation!

I'd say it was worth as much as someone is willing to pay as it's a specialist car!
