tbh i think i will just ditch the idea completey, the stock ones looks actually quite good when u compaire them to some other cars.....cheers for da info tho guys.

ok need opinions, im in process of making a custom honeycomb grill for the front of the car, sould i have it with or without the S, or leave it as it it? (these are only photoshops for idea of what it should look like)

Hi mate, just sat for about an hour and half looking through this thread, your car look fantastic, everything you have done is amazing. Must have cost you a fortune! What are you doing about the decals? The vxr look over the top is spot on but not too keen on the wing mirrors or the sides, but that’s just me. The honeycomb grill will look good, definitely with the S badge. I have a cupra and a 2003 1.2 which is almost finished from the body shop. I will be keeping it too, got the cupra upgrades with a few tweaks and black roof...will make a readers ride for it asap. Keep up the good work mate!!

thanks bud, i emailed the company about the vxr decals and they are sending a replacment fading front and rear, this time they say there gonna laquer them so they shouldn't rub away now, so they say lol......we'll see in time, should hopefully get them through tomorrow and will get them re-fitted shortly, thanks for the comments tho

thats good, as long as ur not having to pay any extra for it or the company are neglecting ur claims i would keep at them if it happens again, hopefully it shouldnt. looks great with the vxr decals!!

cheers mate, as for the mirrors and side panels, i think its one of these things u gotta see in the flesh to give it its credit, the pics i took arent great and i really should get some new pics to try give it some justice, im still kinda warming to it but people i know seem to like it so a dno i guess i'll keep em on for now, at the end of the day its just stickers that come off whenever, yeh i know the company seem to be really understanding so im quite pleased i dont need to argue my case......

sorry but i have a small question for you. it seems every time i see you im hounding you about something. haha. last new years eve you posted a pic of your interior and you had red lights down by the pedals and same on the passenger side. where did you get them and how are they powered?

tried it in and didnt like it tbh, i shouldav taken a photo, will do it later on....
they were from some cheap store thing but like the same ones my autoshop supplies for like £20 a pair, i got them for a fiver a pair. i removed them a while back as some of the led's didnt work so i just ditched em. alot of folk loved them, esoecially drunk friends haha.they were powered via lighter port

nah grill is now binned haha fell to bits when i removed it :shrug:

steelies were only on for MOT purposses and untill i get new tyres next week, will get it back to normal for Svag Knockhill next Sunday
