This is an issue with your car and I bet a £ to a pinch of sh1t it's not the BMC itself.

Your BMC should be 200mm long with an 80mm MAF attachment. If I recall, there are some new ones 240mm long but the pic above is Pete (Iceman) and I fitted mine just after his and it looks very similar.

What I was saying was that the N249 may have been knocked or unplugged when doing the BMC. The BMC would not make the N249 malfunction as far as I can see. Maybe a seperate post in the tuning section is a good idea to ask the experts that lurk in those sections?

You really need to ask somebody who fully understands the N249 as my knowledge is limited;-
