Rubbing noise when steering is nearing full lock. Any ideas ????

Begining to get very anoyed with this and would like to get it sorted before I buy new suspension, any ideas on what the rubbing noise could be guys

take ur wheels off and u will probably see clean plastic where its been rubbing if your cars not lowered the inner arch may have come loose

there is very little clearance between tyres and wheel arches... in fact the LCR has a shorter steering rack..

so if you are running wider than stock you can easily get tyre rub.
or as above the arch lining has come a bit loose.

Yes it's still standard height I have the original wheels on at the mo and it still does it, will take a look when I jack it up to put my alloys back on. It's a wierd sound but hope it is just the arch as fed up of spending money on general upkeep. I was always under the impression that vag cars were of good build quality but this is defo not the case. Water leak in car again ggggrrrrr have saved the link for the proper door seal part number so need to buy that aswell
