From previous experience in other cars, Id leave the roof well alone, if you want to route cables go under the carpet. The roof lining is never hard to take out, but its usually made of some rigid foam stuff that snaps dead easilly, if it does, youll be left with a saggy roof lining. just my opinion on it.

PS, where did you egt the light brows from?

cheers:blink:

Wicked thanks mate, I think they look sweet.

Good luck with the roof lining, looking forward to seeing the plan come together. Id recommend getting a mate round to help remove it, as it may take two of you to support. With any luck it will be made of better stuff than that gash foam rubbish.

Black LCR one? Now im thinking about it, how much did the black one cost you?

cheers

I got mine in a deal with a shed load of other LCR parts, might be selling all soon as well does look so much better and is money well spent.

All LCR's have them.

I know this is a completely different car but i work at the BMW Mini factory, and the hardest thing about changing a headliner is getting it in the car, when the car is made the the headliner is put in through the front windscreen which means you don't have to bend it to get it in, but when replacing it you have to put them in through the boot which is smaller so they have to bend and crease because like previously said there made of foam and cardboard basically and sprayed with stuff in between the layers to make it stronger and hold its shape. When fitted, fitting the trim back up should be easy providing its all lined up correctly. It might be easier on Leons as the boot opening is bigger then the Mini, just thought i'd say from my experience with the Mini.
