Hi does anyone know if bluetooth is compatible with an RNS510 version A unit?

No it's not working. This is the bluetooth module that is fitted under the seat 5P0862335B. There is voltage going to the pin on the plug as I checked with multimeter with me been a sparkie.
Yup seen the module, should be the Harman one.
What year is your vehicle? You should be able to get to the config menu through the vehicle display in the dash.
Also the Bluetooth will be visible for a few minutes from when you first turn the Ignition on.
Also make sure the little antenna that should be connected to the box has not fallen off.

My car is a 2009 plate. Pre facelift. I don't get anything anywhere. When I press the phone button on the headunit it just mutes it. No it's not fallen off. I've had it out.
So you have the orange large display on your dash being pre-facelift?
Has it ever worked since you have had the car?
If it is muting it sounds like it has lost its configuration to say Bluetooth is fitted or the Bluetooth module has gone faulty.

Yeah my display is is red/orange by the speedo. No it's not the garage fobbed me of saying it's not with every model but mine has it all fitted when I got it. I'm in fife mate. Yourself?
Garage obviously not wanting to deal with it. They are correct that every model did not have Bluetooth at that point but if you have the kit installed someone went for the option.

By any chance do you know much about the reverse camera with this headunit? I put an rgb converter in with a yellow video plug from the camera in.
Got distracted yesterday. Will pull them up shortly for you to look at.

My RNS315 has a 26pin Black quad-lock connector that's used for camera input. Unsure is the 510 is the same?

No worries. The camera is already fitted. Yeah so does mine but I had to by the converter to change the signal of the video to RGB so can connect it to the 26pin connector.
