my hands are truely fooked pabs, its 95% blind fitting as theres no room down at the turbo whatsoever. i had to use my mobile (has a built in light) to see if the pipe was on properly etc, metal pipes etc had to be pushed out of the way just to get the tip into a ballpark area where i could manouvre it on.
one hint/tip i'd give you is that the rubber part can come off the metal bottom half, i took it off first to give me a bit more room to get at the 5mm allen headed screw that holds it on.

I keep all my pipes OEM colour - black. Was going to go red but thought the Std look was better in the end.

Brendy, thanks for the info. TBH i doubt I'd fit it myself anyway - get it put on at the same time as some other bits... My hands have been well and truely f*cked in the cold weather when trying to sort out my upper intercooler hose which was leaking - still got cuts all over :( TIP would just snap 1 or 2 fingers off i think... :S

my fmic pipes are all black forge items but i went for the red forge tip to colour code as it isnt an obvious mod from outside.
some of the pics i took, apologies abouyt quality, the camera had a big oily finger print from the offset and only realised once i got in out of the freezing cold.

Pabs, i'll give you a hand fitting the TIP if you like, i've fitted and removed mine about 4 times and can do it pretty quickly now :)

ok mate sounds good - might take you up on that offer ;) Have to find somewhere to do it though, as living/parking on a main road can be a problem.. :(
