why does it sound like i dont want one??
i need more power out of it, i think its just because i have come from a 270bhp subaru weighing 1200kg to a leon with 180bhp weighing about 1700kg (i think) so i was just hoping to get it a little bit more closer to that.

not from a ko3s you wont be....
ko3s tops at 230-240 so thats the limit im afraid, big turbo is your only way youll get anywhere near 270bhp. look for around £3-£5k for this though

na i dont want to go through the stupidly high insurance premiums for the cupra-r again so i made do with the cupra, im not expecting to get the same power but it would be nice to have as much as possible!! so i think a remap more than coileys atm.

mmmh, if you mod a cupra then the insurance will probably be as high as a cupra r then will it not....

its not about big balls figures, driveability, torque curve, handling and how you the driver use the power all factors in a fast car.

Coilovers first
You'll have the better handling first to allow you to use the extra power

I was lucky enough to buy my LCR already mapped but if it was standard power then coilovers would have been first on the list

Its kinda dull having all that power in a straight line and having to back off through the corners :(

Ahmen brother Eck,
Rich if your coming from a BMW and then a Scooby you really need to get the handling sorted before you get more power. Most people who are suggesting you get more power are thinking about what they want and have done to their cars.
But as your quite new to driving and having a powerful 2WD car is very very different to either of your other cars I would get the handling sorted first.
This will allow you to use the power more. Driving a Scooby is all too easy compared to a Leon Cupra, there very very different beasts.
A Leon with 240 BHP will have about 210 BHP at the wheels with 2WD, a Scooby with 270 BHP will have about 180 BHP at the wheels with 4WD, theres a huge difference inhow you need to drive these
