Remap- 1.2 TSI FR

My leon 1.2tsi has a custom map and also got 129bhp on the rollers at awesome gti also I've seen an increase in fuel economy too!

EDIT: just realised you're from the North easy lol. Big Fish Tuning mapped my car I can't recommend him enough, great guy

Yeah john hes called hes a really great guy. I went to get my car remapped on saturday but there was an error on the file i was missing something and when loaded onto ecu the car wouldnt start. He put my original file back on and it started fine. Hes getting the file fixed amd im leaving my car with him on thursday and picking it up friday. Cant wait to see the results ive heard nothing but good things about the 1.2 tsi remap! Cant wait to experience it myself!

Well he had my car on the rollers when i was in saturday and my car was kikin out 107 bhp ! This little engine is fantasic and best part about it is the road tax, 30 quid a year haha!

107 standard isn't bad! So based on that you're looking at a 22bhp increase which is a 20.5% increase

I hope i get that kind of a gain, shud make the car much more responsive and reduce turbo lag hopefully!

I can't see why you shouldn't achieve the same gains I have! It's a huge transformation, even in my leon, so in an Ibiza it will be fairly quick!

Hi guy's from the people who have remapped their 1.2TSI's do you have the 5 speed mannual or the DSG box?

Just wanting to know because I'd like to get mine mapped, so far I have a custom Catback and have lowered the car but I'd like a few more mod's before I commit to the re-map mainly the forge BOV.

Forge have now started to produce an induction Kit for the 1.2 TSI

But it's £160 before VAT and fitting and by the look's of the picture all it would do would be to suck warm air into the engine.

and as far as I'm aware you can't get a front mount IC. So for those of you who have remapped the 1.2 TSI was your box the 5 speed mannual like mine?

Any gear box issues?

Mine was 6 speed manual in the leon and I had no issues with clutch/gearbox. It seemed to handle the power perfectly fine.
I assumed the Ibiza would be 6 speed too but obviously it isn't!

yeah' mines the 5 speed mannual 1.2 TSI 105 BHP...

I just want to know if that gearbox would handle the extra torque.

All across the range, but the low end is probably where the biggest transformation lies.
