+1 to that, 0-60 isn't really improved that much, due to problems getting the power down.
30mph or above is probably where you'll notice it most.
If you want a quick 0-60/2 time then don't get a diesel! 0-60 is pretty meaningless anyway, there are plenty of cars which would beat the FR to 60 from a standing start but wouldn't stand a chance on a rolling start.
Al, dont some of the guys claim on mk5gti that with their vbox they have been getting 0-62 times in around 4.6 secs?
I agree though that the 0-62 times dont really improve, thats why alot less powerful cars can stick with a stage 2 plus car till 3rd gear.
Used to hate it when people asked how quick my 360hp beast did 0-62 in as its not representive of how quick the car is. But now im rockin 4 wheel drive I just tell em 3.5 secs lol
