I found that if you mix a bit of black hammerite with the red it will be a good match as the standard red hammerite is too bright and 'orangey' in my opinion.

Just mix a small amount in a small pot and you will have enough for touching up. ;)

How did you prep your calipers pal?

Did you fully strip them down?

I rubbed them down, just enough to remove the original brembo logo and remove any deep scores, then sprayed them.

I done my rears on Saturday with the paint not the spray. They turned out ok but I'd definately recommend the spray over the paint.

I used a 70mm brembo decal and didn't lacquer over it.

Did mine yesterday with the red hammerite spray and they turned out really well. Chuffed to bits with the results.
What i do suggest is that if you are laquering make sure the hammerite spray has gone hard and not "almost" hard as one of mine was when i decided to laquer on the decal.
It reacted with the red hammerite and went wrinkly like a old scrotum.... :wtf:
Which i had to take right back and do again..... :censored:

The decals that JamJay recommends are good enough and look spot on.
just have to do the rears to match now....:)

The amount of time I've owned the car and put this off...finally got around to it, wish I'd done it ages ago!

Relaquered mine the other week, look great, would look fantastic if I'd bothered to repaint them too.

I didn't use sandpaper. I just literally pealed off the flaking laquer, cleaned the brakes using soapy water and sprayed laquer back on.
