ok finally talked to the bank about it, they say its between me and westec and they cant do anything about it because i gived the permission to take the money

I always thought that they were responsible. The only thing I can find after 5 minutes surfing is that they are liable to faulty goods only over £100.
Try consumer direct or citizens advice. Failing that you can go to court online, but it's like ebay: 1 negative feedback is bad, 2 isn't quite so bad, after 5 or so you stop caring.
