eBay is like that though, people get too carried away with bidding and end up spending more than it's worth. Great for sellers, bad if you're looking for a bargain!

When you see what you get for your money and see the build quality of it, it becomes obvious why it's that price. The Split-R valves are almost double that though, which is excessive IMO.

i wouldnt pay 70 quid for a unknown brand which i cant trust. Might as well chip in around another 10 or so get a forge one.
Service and warrnty is excellent.

I bought the 007p ages ago and when the Split-R came out i got one of those. i didn't find and difference perfomance wise between the two but the Split-R is louder. I'm now running the Split-R on full atmospheric mode which give a very audible stutter.

Received my THS Recirc DV today (very fast delivery!)

First impressions are good. Looks a solid, quality piece of kits and went over it with a fine toothed comb checking operation / leaks etc.

Will hopefully be fitting it over the weekend, so will see how it works on the car, although it will be more of a test when I go for a custom map at jabba in a couple of weeks.

not knocking you mate and good luck with it.
hate to see forges products copied. if copies end up too cheap and companies like forge dissapear then they`ll be no-one around to invent things like the split r.

in the furniture trade i know of a few uk manufacturers going to the wall because they cant compete with the copies. and the copies are rubbish.

not good.

sorry rant over.

Fair do's, and I fully appreciate where you are coming from, but the british public do well at being ripped off in just about every conceivable market sector, from petroleum to electronics goods, and we're seen to be gullable enough to pay whatever anyone is willing to sell there product for (I include myself in this).

believe me, I am under no illusions that the product I have purchased is regarded as a direct replacement for a Forge, and that everyone should go out and buy one. If someone is prepared to sell a product that does the same as another for £30 - £40 less, who are we not to take an interest?
