Dump Off Vale or Recirculation Valve in DSG

I have a DSG-equipped car and I'm mainly looking to add some noise, not seeking any performance improvements. I've heard that installing a dump valve on a DSG could negatively affect its shifting performance. Can you let me know if that's true? Should I go with a recirculation valve to avoid any issues, or is it okay to get the dump-off valve for the sound I'm after?

Please correct anything I've written

Agreed with @nd-photo.nl GFB DV+ diverters are very good.

I have had my T9359 fitted for many years with no problems in regards to DSG Changes however I only fitted this because it replaced a weakness in the original Diverter not for noise, If you are after the the noise when you take your foot off the pedal then you need the DVX version but not had one of those so cant comment.

I have had many different air intakes and if its noise you are after then open cone gives the best feedback but personally I have gone back to enclosed filter to reduce heat soak.
