Mine fell out while on holiday last summer. It took four months to get the part and then get it fitted,
My dealer told me that it needed calibrating with special equipment and I'm still waiting for this to be done.

This has now happened to my Seat Leon MK4 First Edition. The camera and lens has just dropped out this week. (Some of the roads round here are atrocious and in need of urgent repair). Just waiting for the dealer to get back to me on whether this is covered by the warranty. At first they said it was not covered and wanted to charge me £600 to fix it. After arguing the case and showing them this forum they are now going to look in to it to see if they can go down the warranty route. Fingers crossed. Can I just confirm this has happen to Leon MK4 owners and not just Cupra owners?

If your car is still within warranty, this should definitely be a warranty case. It's a common issue and Seat is well aware, I have talked to two dealers in Denmark and they were quite open about it.

I have the same problem and it being covered under warranty, only issue is the part is on back order with no delivery date. It took me two months to get it into the garage for them to have a 5 minute look and tell me they will order a new one.

Have you had your fixed yet or still waiting?

Mine is out for second time already. Still under warranty. But i am waiting for new unit already a month. And yet no time for delivery. :D This car is ridiculous. Too many faults and bugs, with ultra long resolving time even though it is known problem for manufacturer.

Mine fell off also, local dealership told that I shouldn't hold my breath waiting for the part. They told that they have ppl on the waiting list who has been waiting for 9 months already. :ROFLMAO:

I recommend to tape the hole as the water could short out complete system causing more damage to other CAN units.
Do this. My parking sensors are now fecked as a result. Intermittently don't work and restarting the car fixes them.

I finally got mine fixed this week, but only because I complained and suddenly another guy on the waiting list didn't need his anyway. I had been waiting a year at that point, rediculous!

Holy ****... I've been waiting now for 2 months and the dealer told that not a single camera has entered the country within the past 8 months.

Christ! I'll be giving the car back to the leasing company before it gets fixed. When I initially went in they told me "it take a couple of days for the part to come in".

Still confuses me as to why I can get the exact same parts they can't, at a weeks notice 🤯
The dealer told me that there are different versions for each SW version or some other BS. They only have visibility to the North Europe distribution center and from there on they do not have any visibility on part availability. They always tell me that "it takes two weeks", then when I ask how can they be sure they just mumble.

If you have the right camera for my car, I'm happy to purchase it.

Yeah we can supply one for your car but you'd need to visit us/the dealer for calibration once installed
