I've got a K&N and a BPI flow stacker not a Jetex. I was unsure on open cones at first but second time round I never looked back, we're definately coming into the time of year where you'll get the best gains from an open cone but to be honest its all personal preference.

Sorry its been so long mate. I've never ran a Jetex although I have considered changing in the past, the only way I could tell if the Jetex would be better then the K&N would be to buy a Jetex and test it out, I doubt I would see worth while gains to be honest. i've had the same setup for a while now:

Cheers mate

Wheels will be going bright silver and the rear diffuser black so should still be unique. Mine and D.K's look different from the front though. Do you think I should do the CUPRA badge black?

You know what, I think you've just hit the nail on the head there with your own 'theme' here..

Personally if it was me, to avoid a DK duplicate, lol - I'd do the C U P R A badge in black, the rear diffuser matched up to that very black, the wheels hyper/high power silver.

And then the big mod that I see on loads of people's cars they can do = Silvatec side repeaters bulbs to get rid of that fried egg in your rear clusters :D

This is what I run on mine, front and rear ;)

The small mods make all the difference. She's looking really sweet now mate, a few changes here and it's going to be MINT.

The K&N looks good as does the heat shield. I was looking for a Red jetex filter but they were no good as they're too small.

Any problems with the Maf running the K&N???

Also where did you buy the heat shield???
