R32 Arb's

I have been told that the R32 ARB fits the LCR and is a good upgrade as it is 23mm over the standard 19. I just wanted to know does anyone run this on the front and what they thought. Also does anyone run the R32 arb with a Neuspeed rear, how does it handle?? Just looking into the most cost effective method as I would have gone for the H&R KIT all round but did not want the rear to touch the exhaust with people in the back so that is why I am thinking R32 FRONT and Neuspeed rear, probably 25mm rear.

PS Done a search but could not get the realative information.

Thanks in advance for all your help

My own personal view on this is that the R32 front is too stiff.

Understeer is a problem which only gets worse with a stiff front ARB (amongst other things).

The Neuspeed bars are a quality piece of kit but more importantly they have been extensively researched and designed. For fast road use and occasional track use I would recommend the smaller Neuspeed front and possibly the rear 25mm although this again could be a little too stiff for the rear.
I ran a 27 or 28 on the rear of my golf and it was prone to snap oversteer.

I think this is too much hard work for me :-(
I am just going to stick with standard and just change the bushes (poly) and just get four new tyres for the car.

Thanks for all your help

If its a LCR maybe changing the bushes on the Front ARB might not help
There is a problem with them wearing and leaving a very small amount of play
Thats why I canged mine, the independant garage I use have changed loads
of LCR and S3 ones (same front end) Also fitted with standard bushes

the R32 front i believe is perfectly fine for the LCR and im not mistaken is prob 25mm like the neuspeed
I have 25mm front and 28mm rear and it IS amazing
no understeer no oversteer its like its on rails

Glad to see other people saying that 28mm rear is too stiff. I might PM Ruddmeister and point him to this thread  :bleh:

Although, Stu - are you talking about the S3?
