Question for member who has fitted Bonnet Hydraulic Struts

It's nice when you have tools and place to work :)
Mine have no problems, couple of years since installed. Maybe it depends on how much one drives/opens the bonnet.
My workshop at home comes in handy! I suspect mine are quite high force. Car gets less use than it used to but opened when it's washed. Don't have to check before every journey like a British Leyland!

Always remember a VW dealer telling me once they can see how many times the bonnet has been open between services.

Update on mine. Got so fed up with the brackets in the Russian kit twisting, even when using double sided tape in addition....

So I got myself some aluminium angle, made some holes, hacksaw and file....these will not move. Took me back to my apprentice days.

Here is some close pictures so you can see clearly...
Very tidy job that bud. Been in the fabrication/welder job for 22yrs so my praise doesn't come lighty
