'pulsing' acceleration mk4 petrol cupra?

Is it as thought the car keeps dropping boost then picking it back up, my petrol cupra did this after about 2000 miles, i took it back to the dealer and they sorted it under warrenty, its now done 21000 miles without a problem. They said it was the boost solenoid valve (not sure if they meant the recirc valve though).

Just take it back to your dealers.

Mine done exactly the same thing, and changed the boost solenoid valve. Seems to be fine when I put my foot down, but when im idling the revs never stay still so im thinking the MAF sensor might be on its way out.

I think they just use cheap parts tbh,

did you change the boost solenoid ^^^ is there now no sign of pulsating acceleration at all cant see this standard part fixing the problem if it is this thats causing it as abviously the part is a pile of poo from dealer!
