Not usually a fan of non SEATs but you're doing a great job with the Kia, love the new HU and the removal of the wood really has worked wonders

depending on the camera it can go up near the spoiler, or under the bumper lip where the number plate lights are, that way they dont look to obvious.

I did look at putting it where the number plate is but didn't think about where the spoiler is , I may mount it in the rear diffuser bit some how as it looks a bit out of place where the number plate is

reversing camera turned up just before lunch, so though it would be rude not to fit it, harder in the heat of the mid day in a baking hot car, but think of the lbs i lost lol

took the screen out of the dash again, as the unit has a feed line input, so when the camera is on the unit auto switches to the camera, i wired the camera off the reverse light, so its only on when going backwards.

cable runs down behind the glove box then pushes under the kick trims,

up to the back, where it runs up by the rear seats and along to the boot.

i too the wire out to the back light, the back light has two screws then you push the lamp side ways to undo the lugs.

i then fed it up the d pillar, and through the rubber gromet so it would fit at the top of the hatch,

heres tha camera fitted

and the picture,

not bad for £13 and going through a tint, its night vision too, if the tint obstructs i may chop it, but as i rarely go out at night think i'll manage lol

Nice. The HU I've just bought to go in my LCR has a port for a reverse parking cam which I'm tempted to put in somewhere. Are they good for external use too, as in under the bumper, or do they need to go in the window Jake?

well not impressed, first partially war day, 10mins into my 15min drive home the hu spazes out and turns off and not wont come back on, its boiling hot too, to say i not impressed is an understatement, ebay $hite.

its prob a heat sink protection mode, but have emailed the seller to let them know, see what they say if nothing is done a paypal dispute will need to be opened!!!

plus point the aircon works,

pleased with the mpg on the car too,

put £25 in and the car had about £5 in already and have done 180 odd miles which works out about 33-35mpg
