it has eberything lol, bar sat nav that is, heated leather electric seats, parking sensors, cruise control, loads of stuff, fsh from kia and has only done 62k, well impressed with it, and best of all i can mod it haha, well not too much

i am the new owner of jakes old car, am very much in love with it!
dont plan to do anything to it in the near future, will just enjoy it for now! I will no doubt be around the forum trying to learn as much as i can about these cars, as i am new to the VAG scene. any updates i will be sure to inform you guys.

i thought you had good taste in cars untill now,i used to work for kia and skoda as a mechanic the sorrento was the best of the kias but there still rubbish dont let it lock you out with the keys in the ignition and running either lol.

Went down that route when I had a kid got rid of my 245bhp Passat and went for a 4.0ltr Grand Jeep cherokee. Loved the comfort but my mrs wouldn't drive it caus eit was so big (especially when I put some 22"s on it) and 11 mpg got rid and now proudly a Leon Cupra owner as I thought at the time that Mk4 golfs were and are too common.
luckily the mrs has her own car haha,
there are styling mods i can do to the car, but adding bigger wheels immediately ruins the feel/ride quality of the car, tbh for a big 4x4 it handles quite like a car,

screen turned up yeasterday while i was out, it came with an iso connector too which saved alot of messing about :-X
i took the dash to bits firstly,
then made a mounting bracket
offered the unit up to make sure it fitted,
then built up the dash
and fitted my painted sections,
think its come out very well, everything works as it should, aerial goes up and down too

decided i really didn't like the wood, esp now the center is silver so whipped the door cards off, really easy to do, then its a case of two gold screws holding the grab handles in and popping the controls out with a clip remover,
i will put step by step pics up soon, used my phone not the camera lol

that is a HUGE improvement Jake. Wood is for cabinets and classic motors. Can't believe how much it has transformed the cabin
believe it or not, just after i rear the fitting of the dvd screen post i thought "im gonna propose he sprays the wooden handles" and tada!! next post it was already done, haha looks 10 times better mate, will be interesting to see this unfold a little.....starting a new thread for it?
