Although mines not as long as five seconds I do have to let it crank before it starts in the morning it always been like it pre and post remap.

My dash lights also flicker off and on whilst it is doing this as if the battery is flat

:think:So you're saynig it's normal to hold the car and wait for the engine to make turns for 5 secs.
OK I don't think so but no matter.
The man also says that sometimes it won't fire,is that normal too?

Hi

Its not a problem .

Its just how the fuel system works.

Something is definetly not right as it has never done this before, the car doesnt turn over sometimes especially in morning it acts like the bttery has no power to turn the engine over then all of a suden it starts

I don't know how it is in england but here the law allows you to ask the seller for a refund after 3 years if the product is not OK.
Prooving that however might be a b.tch [:@]

Hi

So its slow turning over ? like it has a flat battery ? Then turns over at normal speed and starts ?

If its turning over slowly like the battery is flat, then it sounds like a bad earth or power connection .

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but did the OP and/or CC have a solution to this?

My Cupra is doing the almost exact same thing. I'm booked in for a battery test, but would like to have a bit more info of similar problems so I'm not fobbed off.
