Hey just wondering if any one could help me out at all, i have no idea whats wrong with my car. Its a leon fr and when driving it and you put your foot down the revs build up then when it hits 4-5 revs it starts to judder, like its at its limit or missfiring, its really strange. When i put it in neutral it doesn't do it, only while driving, just wondering if anyone knew of why its doing this and what needs to happen to fix it. Its also been remaped too. thanks to any one that replies.

Also what i forgot to say it makes a funny ticking over sound, which it hasn't done before, only does it when the engine is hot and has been running hard for a while.

Does the CEL flash when it judders? Mine did when it did somthing similar, turned out to be a coil pack, fixed under warranty!

Forgot to ask/say, is yours a petrol? Mine is!

I never bother, just one at a time. They are about £35 each, but would be replaced under warrenty.

went to the dealer and they put it on vagcom and said nothing came up. I have noticed that the engine light does flash when at the redline. I mentioned the coilpack and they said if it was that it would have showed up on vagcom. Anyother ideas.

Did the dealer not do anything about it then? They didn't see any errors on vagcom so done nothing?

Yea they said if something was wrong it would show up, they said wait till it gets worse and then bring it back in! By then it might be too late or the problem could be a lot more, the car is also smoking alot too.

As you said get it back to the dealers asap, I wouldn't be happy first of all that they let you drive it away even though it was still giving problems and even more so now until you are 100% that the problem has been fixed don't drive the car away.

He plugged his laptop in and found the error. Cylinder number 1.So hopefully that is the problem, why he found it andseat didn'ti have no idea. Booked in for monday to get that fixed and the alarm, as the alarm isn't working either.
