Just about to order some new hangers as my exhaust rattles slightly, particularly at cold. Could any possible post a pic that clearly shows the type of hanger on a leon cupra and also how many hangers are on a system, is it 3 or 4?

Powerflex exhaust hangers

The exhaust hangers are quite specialist in all honesty. You'll need 1 universal powerflex one, where the exhaust bends up over the rear beam.
The centre section mount/hangers are built into the bracket, (2 of the item shown below)
and the one furthest back (under the back bumper) is like a V-shape, where it has 2 mounting points on the chassis, coming down to one mounting point for the exhaust hanger.

A V shape? Looked on powerflex and nothing resembles that, is there an alternative? Also when you say the middle ones are fixed do you mean you cant change them ?

Yeah you can change the middle ones, they're bolted into the bracket, but i dunno if you'll find anything other than OE spec ones.
The one you will easily be able to swap is the one where it goes over the rear beam. You'll notice it's a pretty standard shaped one

So really it appears as though its just the hanger around the beam you can upgrade, others look like oem replacements only 
, oh well suppose the beam is where it could be rattling a bit, cheers for the pics btw mate

To be fair , I would have thouoght the last thing you want is a firmer mount when it comes to the exhaust??????
Wont it mean that there would be more vibrations?
Last I knew Powerflex didnt do them , but all that may have changed?????

Mine was rattling like hell so bought new OE ones and all is nice and quiet again, well it was untill i put the piper on and now it hits here and there, but thats a different story.

Could that be the exhaust itself?????
I must admit , where I used to work , we would just put OEM ones on

never got round to replacing all hangers .....until now, does anyone happen to know the part numbers for the first two pics in the thread?
