as for the grill surround did u paint it your self? Easy to remove it?

There’re quite a few websites you can get the caps from, in different colours too e.g. eBay and Seat. My Leon Cupra came with the black grill surround already. You’d have to take the front bumper off to take the grill off the car. Not easy or quick (for me anyway).

Removing/ Dechroming Grill Surround

Hey guys, had a search around but can't find a definitive answer for this; Is it possible to remove the chrome grill surround on a facelift MK3 Leon without removing the bumper? Wanting to get it sprayed gloss black but don't fancy removing the whole bumper if I can avoid it. Tempted just...

You could attempt it whilst it’s on the car providing everything else is masked and covered up 100%. I’ve painted a few different parts on the car like that, small parts. It’s much easier and safer to take the part off the car though. Prime, paint then lacquer.

Indeed looks great. I didn't go to my detailer this year, first time in 6 years, usually I clean my car inside once a year, and all the good cleaning outside, including clay bar/removal of stains, oxidation and such. (almost don't use it, drive alone, no food/drinks/etc' inside ) ). But this year I've driven only 4K km, so decided not to, till the spring. The car anyways sleeps in the underground parking lot.
