Hi there folks, new to the Leon members, had an Ibiza bocanegra for 4 years and had to go bigger. Got the cupra 300 In white about 3 months ago, so far I’ve got the cobra centre resonator straight pipe with new 19” bola matte black alloys, got a Lenzdesign front splitter coming next week and lowering springs. Stage 1 369bhp. Any other mod suggestions welcome ! Absolutely love this beast !!

That front splitter is nuts!

Have you looked into Spoiler caps? Maxton do a very simple one... But have been looking for alternatives.

How much did you get charged for the Cobra res delete?

I’ve had a look at the rear extension part , but not any spoiler caps.
I bought the cobra sport res delete for 145 off eBay, and installed it myself as it’s very straight forward... there’s a video on YouTube of how to do it on a golf R and it’s the exact same set up etc.

how much is this lowered ? Thinking of lowering mine but not sure what springs and by how much ?
Eibach Pro Kit is the way to go. I had to go Spotlines as that was the one only options for the 4drive. But Pro Kit is a better ride height/comfort compromise than Sportlines.

Morning all

Got my Cupra 290 ST mapped recently from stock 290 bhp / 350 nm to tuned 365 bhp / 470 nm.

Upgraded the clutch and flywheel to performance parts (not through choice).

Badges painted.

Considering a new air intake and spacers, does anyone have any recommendations?

Thanks

A Ramair intake/heatshield and MST hose/turbo elbow is a good pairing from what I've just fitted

Is the R version really worth the extra ££s?
Will be looking for a Cupra soon and really love these but there is a significant price difference

Yes if only for the revised suspension/geometry setup making it more exciting to drive than the boring 4drive (in comparison to the FWD).
