Thanks, I think so too!

Not running any spacers.
The wheels are 8.5x19" with ET42 offset and the tires are Hankook V12 Evo2 235/35R19.

I had the same style wheels in my previous 1.8 FR, but in matt metallic gray with machined face. That car had the titanium pack which meant that the mirrors where metallic gray so they suited that car very well.

Beautiful colour!

I was gonna ask what colour they were. I’m fancying doing mine anthracite or gloss black. Thought I’d try it instead of splashing out on upgrading to the 18s

They aren’t the best looking wheels but any colour looks better than that seat silver. I’ve read that 18s can alter the ride a lot and it maybe best to stick to the 17s. If upgrading to 18s I’d have gone for the cupra style diamond cut wheels, I can’t find them for sale anywhere.

Think the cupras only come with 19s??? Happy to be corrected. Ride quality on my 18s in my fr is absolutely fine.

The 280 Cupra’s had 18’s. I’m fancying a set of the 18” Performance Alloys or doing mine Black but really not keen on the style of them. Fancy a little rear spoiler and job done. Seen one like this and thought it looked decent

I would agree with you I have only see 19" in the uk however paddy's spec shows both 18 and 19.

Sorry to any 265 owners, but the standard 18’s looked awful. However they are the same design as the 19’s, amazing what a bit of paint and diamond cutting does.

I had those 265 alloys in 17 inch variety on my Ibiza Cupra and looking back they we're especially vile on that, I think the new 19s look great though

Yeah the 19’s in anthracite or black pack black look great. Not a fan of the orange pack ones mind. But in the plane silver they’re just missing something.

It would be interesting to see what the 300’s 19’s look like in plane silver. The diamond cut and black makes them look really skinny.

Wonder if I’d get shot for swapping the carbon’s wheels to what I have now....
