Dave your stalling issue may well be down to incorrect fuelling from your map which isn't set up properly for your car yet. Don't be a tart, stick with it
If it's puffing out blue smoke after engine braking that's more indicative of rings IIRC - again, compression and leak down test will
help verify.
Big Daddy - do you have an oil pressure gauge to verify what it's running at? It's much more common for cars to suffer from low oil pressure than high and it won't be touching stem seals regardless. These tend to wear from excessive combustion temperatures, particularly the exhaust valves.
It's no good speculating on all these symptoms, just because 3 people have smoking and are burning oil doesn't mean it's going to be the same cause. Get testing
