Hi guys,

Just wanted to pick somebody's brains.

Today I drove back from Germany to good old Britain and whilst travelling on the auto bahn I thought I wanted to see what the cars like as recently bought it.

Basically twice whilst driving I went above 80 and all was fine but then the car lost power and wouldn't gain speed at all. And then I dropped down gears and nothing.

So I pulled off the bahn and even going through first second etc ther was no power I couldn't feel turbo kicking in.

I turned the car off and on again and all was fine. Could this be the turbo possibly on its way out? It's working fine now but don't want to take it over 80 again.

Thanks
Luke

Sounds like it went into limp mode, could be quite a few things but wen mine did it it was the start of the turbo vanes sticking causing over boost and going into limp mode, get it plugged in and see if any fault codes
