My mum had a HR-V....worst car she ever had...felt like a tin can and moved like a milk float!!! 4 months later it was replaced with its bigger brother.

Mine was the VTEC one and as long as you wrung its neck it was fine. If you didn't take it right around to 7500 it was terrible and if you didn't try and drive it on the door handles it didn't handle properly either :)

I had mine lowered and uprated. So the handeling was not to bad. I liked mine. Thought it was a good car.

Ok here goes
1st car was a £50 morris ital in blue looked a bit like this:

Then a 4 door nova saloon, eeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwww but hey it was reliable and cheap, bit like this, got broken into 4 times and stolen once
nova.jpg

Finally a bit of taste
A 1972 bay window VW bus that was pearlessant pink and white, haven't got a pics unfortunatley (pre-digi cameras!)

Then a gold mini with a 1.3 and a few minor tweeks
again no pics (I'm showing my age)

after that suffered numerous breakdowns it was the turn of captain sensible and I had my grandfathers rover 100 (no its a metro) AUTOMATIC....sweet that was red and had about 10k miles on it

Couldn't live with myself in that so it went after 5 months and i bought a rover216 coupe, lowered it and put 17's on it, it was a good car.......no REALLY it was

Then the fun bit........a 1993 golf VR6, god that was a fun car
GOLFVR6.jpg

used to fly on the motorway, but after crashing it twice and getting 6 points in 12 months I decided to let her go:cry:

then the golf bug really hit and I was feelin retro so i bought a mk1 GTI
IMAG0029-1.jpg

Which I've still got today but has spent the last 3 years off the road after blew up the box
so i bought a ratter, well I say bought I think I paid £50 for it
shtter.jpg

The suspension was shot and it was like drivin a barge....fun though

so after that a golf mk2 16v

can't find any pics of that either:whistle:

head gasket went on that so became a hairdresser

then had a little save, borrowed a few squid and bought the best car I've had so far:

as I bought her

and now:

For god's sake dont let a girl drive this one!!!!!!!!!

They're nice to look at - but don't let them drive! :roflmao:

You seem to get ok women drivers - and then the ones that REALLY give girls a bad name. It appears you only know the latter. lol

i had to take the pedals off to reveal the tiny standard ones as my size11's really didnt mix well with no space between the pedals!

First I had my mk2 1.4 Ibiza

After 18months of ownership I saved up some money and bought this mint 2.0 16v beeza.

I then sadly caught the biking bug and so sold the beeza and got a cheap run around

And a GSXR

Well the first and was my fave until the Cordy came along, a VW Polo 1.05C!! 65MPH in second made it the fastest and most reliable first car out mine and all my mates, really did love it:

Image013_11A.jpg

Really wanted a MK4 Polo but discovered Ibiza's as the cheaper alternative and this car grew on me more every time i drove it, a fantastic little work horse that did 20k in one year! The day she left me:

After having an Ibiza and craving something with a GTi badge this little beauty made sense:

100_3884.jpg

Unfortunately she met her demise one sad day at meadowhall when she got rear ended and written off, would probably still have it now if not :(

Next up i finally got my Mk 4 Polo :) needing something to get me back on the road after the GTi went, had huge fun with this car even though i only had it 5 months and in a strange way i miss it. Nothing special just a really good car:

100_4027.jpg

sold it on to another SCN member who also went from a GTi to a MK4!

The Polo was great but i needed a beast once more.... something capable of giving me that tingling feeling down my back that lets me know i'm alive... I spotted her on Ebay and fell in love with the look, then a couple of SCN members got in on the act and told me to get off and get it, that same day i did!:

cordyfront2.jpg

She's up for sale and getting a lot of interest, i'll miss this car the most i think but i'm needing something cheaper to insure, tax and fuel now i have a new job doing 40 miles a day starting in a week. If i could keep her i would but i just don't have the space.

My next main car is going to be something very special indeed, i've just got to track a white one down ;) so i'm thinking i'll go back under MK2 or MK4 Polo power while i search :)
