Thread from the dead FTW..

Afraid I started off on scooters!

First was my Speedfight, then Jetforce!

First car on the road was my '90 Mini, which ended up with a 1293/straight cut drops..

That came off the road, stripped for parts when I bought a 2003 MG ZR.

2 weeks later, also bought a Honda VFR400R NC30.. That came off the road in September for a full re-spray and rebuilt where it is now ready for its MOT in mint form. First shot is before and second is after..

After 8 months, decided to get rid of the ZR and get a MK3 Cupra.. I still have this!

As a side project, there is also a '79 Mini Van being restored.

Im also looking to get a Kawasaki ZX636 C1H or 10R

my 7th car (times where hard as i got made redundant) cavalier with c20xe engine conversion. i later crashed this and broke the car for spares.

my 10th car 300bhp nissan 200sx

my 12th car and winter runabout upon till 3 weeks ago astra gte

Love the Astra GTE. I used to drive round in my Dad's '91 J-reg in the same colour alot when I was 17 - 18 years old, that's over 17 years ago. Oh that digital dash and those seats were mint.

There's still some good examples around which haven't had the dredded rear wheel arches replaced.

One day I might get a nice 80's / 90's car....I still lust after a Sierra Cosworth though, even if they are over-priced.

Ok here goes
1st car was a £50 morris ital in blue looked a bit like this:

Then a 4 door nova saloon, eeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwww but hey it was reliable and cheap, bit like this, got broken into 4 times and stolen once

Finally a bit of taste
A 1972 bay window VW bus that was pearlessant pink and white, haven't got a pics unfortunatley (pre-digi cameras!)

Then a gold mini with a 1.3 and a few minor tweeks
again no pics (I'm showing my age)

after that suffered numerous breakdowns it was the turn of captain sensible and I had my grandfathers rover 100 (no its a metro) AUTOMATIC....sweet that was red and had about 10k miles on it

Couldn't live with myself in that so it went after 5 months and i bought a rover216 coupe, lowered it and put 17's on it, it was a good car.......no REALLY it was

Then the fun bit........a 1993 golf VR6, god that was a fun car

used to fly on the motorway, but after crashing it twice and getting 6 points in 12 months I decided to let her go

then the golf bug really hit and I was feelin retro so i bought a mk1 GTI

Which I've still got today but has spent the last 3 years off the road after blew up the box
so i bought a ratter, well I say bought I think I paid £50 for it

The suspension was shot and it was like drivin a barge....fun though

so after that a golf mk2 16v

can't find any pics of that either

head gasket went on that so became a hairdresser

then had a little save, borrowed a few squid and bought the best car I've had so far:

At 17 as most of us do car life started badly with a 1.1 carb'd fiesta with only mods a set of rs wheels and colour coded bumpers. Sadly no photos on this computer

Next up was my Mk3 Golf GL in dragon green with a few aesthetic tweaks alloys, lights, grill, spoiler and some colour coding and the harshest suspension setup known to man - H&R shocks and springs.

As i started uni i picked up a nice relaxing commuter a Mk4 Golf GTI again in green staying very standard and reliable.

During uni at 21 i bought a MNR Vortx RT kit car which started like this

Whilst the kit was being built i bought a Seat Leon Cupra R 225 in Artic Grey with a few subtle mods like anthracite wheels, upgraded brakes, more power with AMD map, green filter and ducting, forge 007p and a forge tip producing 264 bhp & 302 lb/ft. A few more mods to come but heres how it looks now

Three months back at 23 i finished the MNR which now looks like this and absoloutely flies!

Hy all!

I have long ago 3pieces Lada, but my first official roadcar is this was.
Lada 2105 1300 1991

I was buyed this car is total stock, and during 1year i build it such equipped/condition.
The engine was nearly Group A, ca. 75-80 BHP. The drivetrain has a straight cutted 5speed dogbox, and 4.1:1 ratio Colotti limited slip diff. The body received a full official Group A homologated reinforcement chassis. The suspension was also homologated Group A, with Bilstein Shock, polyurethan bushes etc. In Hungary the Lada is an original RWD rally legend, like England the Ford escorts. I must sell this car in october 2010

My Second car was buyed in 2011, I was afraid a littlebit with the FWD, but already very like my Ibiza. I dont want a strong, radical tuning, because in Hungary the tuning is not official (for Police). Later i want to open a new thread about my ibiza.
