Have you tried contacting them through their eBay shop? They appear to have a lot of current items listed on there with feedback as recent as today which suggests they must still be be trading...

The partsulike.co.uk website is registered to:-

David Lee
4 Denston Close
Northampton
NN4 0DD
United Kingdom

All of this information is readily available on the internet if you do the relevant searches so none of the names or addresses can be considered as private or confidential data. David is the first poster in this thread with the member name "blackrat250" but the last time he logged onto the forum was 20/11/2013 @ 21:05.

An internet search on "David Lee" or "Dave Lee" at "Denston Close" reveals a telephone number of 07516-456196 and an email address of [email protected]. A further search of "[email protected]" reveals another ebay shop run by a Dave Lee of 1 Mansell Close, Towcester, Northamptonshire, NN12 7AY that has the same phone number and VAT number. That eBay shop is currently listed with a different address and is selling the same LEDs as the partsulike shop, again with feedback as recent as today:-

Having the same VAT number as partsulike means it's the same company. When querying the VAT number 150663915 using this web page it confirms the registered address of the trader/company that the VAT number belongs to as being "4 Denston Close, Northampton, NN4 0DD" which ties everything back to David Lee.

So, if you guys don't get the bits you've ordered from the partsulike website, you now have some eBay shops, residential addresses, email addresses and phone numbers you can pursue the issue through.

End of the day if he's got a shop on the Internet selling things. Then they should send the parts after taking the money. Otherwise I just see it as they are scamming people.

Also I know all that info is available on the web. But realistically what am I going to do with it. I'm not going to drive there and knock in his door for £20.

I'd rather just make sure others don't get messed around.

For a start you could try picking up the phone and ringing him. He may not answer but unless you try you don't know and at least you may then get to ask someone in person what is going on.

Then failing that, if you haven't paid by credit card or PayPal and you want to pursue getting your money back you will need the registered trader's address to send a Letter Before Action to and to have court papers served to if it goes that far. So the details posted is valuable information and saves anyone having to go off searching for it themselves.

I've been down to PartsULike today after making contact with them on Ebay, They dont usually let people come down but they said it was ok for me to come down.

The kit they have listen for the MK2 Leon, I didn't think would fit mine as been told the interior bulbs are different so thats why I wanted to go down and see them.

Anyway as suspected my interior bulbs were alot different to the kit they sold, they now know what a 2010 car needs.

I got the premium kit, which replaces:
1. Sidelights
2. Front interior lights
3. Rear interior lights
4. Mirror lights
5. Glovebox
6. Boot light
7. Number plate

The front interior light and mirror lights were different in this kit to the kit they sell already for the MK2, We think the difference is between facelift and pre-facelift.

Drove home 30+ mins no warnings at all, Car was sat for another 20-30 mins with no warnings either.

The kit is about £30 Delivered, They are going to change their website basically the want customers to check what bulbs they need before ordering the kits because it appears there is about 3 different combinations of bulb types with the MK2 Leons

I'd be interested in this, tried loads of number plate bulbs and always ended up with warnings :(
