Any chance of a pic or more info on how to connect up to the reversing light feed. I assume you meant the cover for the lights on the body of the car.
Had a look today and not sure what to be looking for and do not want to be trying to run a cable back down from the reversing light in the hatch.

You will need to run a feed to the visual sensor if you fit one cos' this fits in the middle of your rear view mirror at the top of your roof lining so that feeds around the rear side trim.

Remove the inner quarter panel trim and you will see the plug. Its the one inside the boot with the 'cargo net'

Many thanks found it. How good is your memory (mines crap) but was it the brown wire, blueish/yellowish or blueish/whiteish wire you connected onto. If cannot remember I will work it out when the sensors arrive.
Thanks

Ive just drilled 4 holes in the flattened off area of the black part of the FR bumper, no probs at all. Fed the wires in and up to the small vents in the boot - wasn't too much hassle but required one person to feed the wire and another to grab it.

Ive found the wiring behind the left hand trim but am waiting for my neighbor to get home so that i can pinch his multimeter.

Total cost so far; £14.99 and 1 hour :)

Sounds good to me, nice an easy and not expensive!

Where did you get your sensors from? Considering as one of my next mods !

Hope the connection goes well then you're all sorted

Was it the ones that was linked to earlier in the posts?

Have you got them up and running now? Managed the connection with no problems as you were waiting to use a multimeter?

@ David from Seremotors.

Mate, do you think all of the kits will of been wired to the passenger side? I had mine fitted by the dealer before I picked the car up and recently sometimes when reverse is selected, they don't come on. So I was going to check the connections, but would be nice to have an head's up on which side there probably connected.

On a second thought, as they were only fitted 2 years ago and genuine Seat parts were used and a Seat garage fitted them, will they be covered under any form of guarantee/warranty? It's due it's second service soon, so if they were covered I could ask them to look at this too.

I know that the passenger rear is SEAT's recommended wiring point and is detailed in the OE Accessory kit instructions.
Re warranty on them, any genuine SEAT accessory fitted at PDI (before you take delivery) carries a 3 year warranty same as the car. Any part or accessory fitted later carries its own 2 year parts and labour warranty.

Perfect mate, Thank you very much. I had thought that this may of been the case with having them fitted before I picked it up, thanks for clarifying it. Now the only problem is, it seems to be a little intermittent (sp)

I got the set of ebay that is a bracket for your number plate. You slide the number plate into the bracket and drill holes in the bumper behind the bracket for cable ties to go through. There are two sensors at either end of the bracket and it scotchlocks into the reverse light cable... 20mins, easypeasy for 50quid

Now you've got me Chris. I'm not sure mate. The next time it happens I'll check this first. Possible reverse gear sensor failure on the gearbox mate?
