Nah - still love this car, always will! :)

The new owner has had it nearly 2 weeks now though - his insurance company don't seem to know what they are doing as they told him my car was a CAT-B write-off and that they wouldn't insure him! Needless to say I was MORE than stunned at this comment, and the fact that I have 2 history checks on the car, then did a new one recently, plus know the car is immaculate and in no way crushed into a cube (as a cat-b means chassis crushed, parts reused)... Gave me a real heartattack - until I realised it HAD to be a mistake. And yes - it is!

Here are a few pictures of the new car that I collected on Friday evening... :)
It's not fantastically clean, but I'm working on it!

hehe thanks mate. Not a fan of huge spoilers, toying with the idea of a small boot lip extension, but I've got other things to do first. :)

Well insurance for me for the next 2 months on same policy as the leon was £85 extra. Full year has been quoted at £700 FC from sky, but £600 from elephant :)

The drive - well I've not had much chance to drive it yet, but initial comments are all positive - steering is quite heavy but then it is a massive car - this also means my spacial awareness at the moment is terrible - can't see the front of the car at all.

It should be around 360-400bhp, so in comparison to leon, yes it does fly! Hoping to get it serviced and then RR'd just to make sure it's doing what I expect, and will also highlight any issues but hopefully there won't be any!

One trouble I am having is going from a 4yr old car to a 14yr old car - the bodywork has lots of imperfections that annoy me, but then it is expected for the age of the car. Still thinking of getting the paint mopped and professionally detailed - but may also consider a respray in the future.

I'm just going to see how things pan out - I've already got a huge shopping list of bits I want, but I'm going to have to limit myself!!!! lol

It's an M plate mate. TBH I don't really want to discuss the price I paid, but lets just say it was about the same price the leon cost me when I bought that in 2004. (secondhand) I suppose the thing to remember is that Supra TT Aerotops are very rare (more-so for good condition ones) so this always pushes the price up a bit. You can get Supra TT's for about 6k now, but won't be anything like this beast :D

Horay Paul, glad you got it all sorted now mate. Leon sold, Supra on the go, new house, things are looking up. That supra looks sweet as fook. But remember the promise, at the next RR, you are taking me out in it [B)]

No tris mate - I was looking for a very cheap car as a runabout 2nd car - but decided against that in the end as I don't really need it now (can burrow the missus car if I need to)

Mig - yes mate you can come out in it if you like - Don was in it yesterday with the roof off - he had a big grin (and come to mention it, I did too :D)

Purple interior - it's an interesting one TBH - I wasn't keen at first, but it's kind of grown on me. Obviously with the purple samco hosing under the bonnet it kinda goes with the theme, so I think they'll stay that way. It was an expensive retrim (£800 ish) for the previous owner, so don't think I should rip it out! May sell them for some different seats in the future, but I'm not worried about it for now!

I was just gonna say its screaming out for a rear spoiler! I dont like the rounded one but theres plenty of lovely aftermarket spoiler out there that suit the Supra to a tee! :D

Don was in it already!!! Cheeky git, lol. Well to be honest I've been scaring myself shitless on the bike for the past 2 weeks (until my wheel bearing went pop), so I've had my speed fix, but your supra look really nice so still will have to meet up anyway.

I have to agree, I hate chav cars with spoilers, but cars like a Scooby or a Supra definitely need a big fat wing :D
