Overheating mystery

ive removed thermostat,just need to see if it cools engine down,thanks for reply.cheers kev

Just wanted to add I went through the same set of symptoms and solutions as this thread. Overheating engine, tried flushing out the radiator. Turned out to be the pin on the thermostat housing had bust through the back of the mounting. This thread was really useful for me to solve the problem! Cheers all.
