Hey guys, just wondering if this is the right kit for my car (AGN Engine?)

eBay: Timing Belt kit (w/ Water Pump)

I've done a search and there's somewhat a difference between a plastic impeller and metal impeller waterpumps. What else I'm missing here in the kit? The dealer quoted me for $800 (My currency, Brunei/SGD) and I think that's really expensive. I think I can sort it out just buying the kit and fit it myself.

The car's overheating everytime I go over 80kmh, rises up until it engages the overheating alarm noise. Now the car's sitting in the garage, and is it possible too if the water might leaked into the engine somehow? My dad stressed me that, and I'm not sure if that's possible. Just a fail waterpump I thought?

The engine thermostat could also be the culprit, mind you the pumps are known to fail.

If the kit comes with everything, I think I should just grab it? I think it's a bargain.

Maybe? But the engine feels pretty warm though after a 3 minutes run. The fan started too, and I don't think I want to drive it around again. What I still don't get is my dad's comments. How can a fail waterpump causes the water to leak into the internals? Unless I'm missing something.

And the car is 130,000km on the mileage. Anything else I should replace at this point? Wanted to service/overhaul it once for all.

Thanks, I'll look into the thermostat first. But I guess I'll be just replacing the waterpump and the thermostat (along with the timing belt + etc) just to be on the safe side. Today I just started the engine, just let alone idle, the engine bay feels hot. Thanks for the comments guys, really appreciate it.
