I ordered my Cupra ST 300 4drive in August (25th) and have been given an an unconfirmed build week of 47 (Week commencing 20 November), i just hope thats not 2018 :/

Extras are
Monsoon Grey
Panoramic Sunroof
Camera pack
Seat Sound
Kessy/connection pack

So if that date ends up true it will be 14 weeks plus shipping (3 weeks?) for a total ~17weeks order time

So went to the dealers on Saturday to confirm the changes I wanted to make.

Originally ordered a 1.4 150bhp, ST with DSG in Mystery Blue. No options

Have now changed to a 1.8 180bhp, ST with DSG in Desire Red. Not really options however it comes with 18" wheels as standard as part of the motability deal.

Build week is 3rd week in January, however, dealer has said not to take much notice of this as orders they made at the end of August that had March 18 delivery dates, have already started appearing at the dealership. He reckons mine will be ready end of the year

Has anyone been dealing with Chris Clark at Arnold Clark SEAT? I spoke to him in early September to order my Cupra ST 4Drive, but I haven't been able to get in touch with him since, he isn't answering any emails! So tempted to cancel but not sure what else to go for...

Spoke to him today, my car was ordered on the 14th of September and there isn't a build date showing in his system yet, is that normal? I was quoted around 20 weeks when I ordered.

I didn't manage to get even an unconfirmed build week until 12 weeks after the initial order.

Right guys, as I said, I've collated details of all those who have posted on this thread saying they've ordered.

I've created a spreadsheet, with a row for usernames, then columns for trim, engine, wheels, options, order date, unconfirmed build week, confirmed build week and delivery date.

Why did I do this? Well, maybe I'm bored and have too much free time before work this afternoon. But on a serious note, I thought it might let us see some patterns and work out average lead times.

Mikeyh22, op_, Bubbs, CAPS_LOCK_STUCK and jay-bob 25 have you taken delivery yet? I've highlighted you all in yellow as you may have said your car was due for delivery, on the ship or at the port.

So far, only Brew3144 has got his Leon, a 1.8 TSI ST with Adaptive Cruise Control, Space Saver Spare, Driver Convenience Pack. Brew3144 was the first to order on 01 Jun 17.

pavarotti1980 has the longest to go with an unconfirmed build week of week 11.

The most recent order was by Gtunney in late September who is yet to get an indication of build week.

Below is the link, I hope it helps:

I've read all the posts from page one and picked out what people have ordered. Some haven't posted full details so slide me a message or reply to this with whats missing and I'll update it.

For your spreadsheet:

Seat Leon Hatchback 1.4 TSI FR Technology (Petrol , Manual)

Colour: Metallic - Midnight black

Options: 30/1 alloy wheels 18", Adaptive Cruise Control, Convenience Plus Pack

10 days after you :(

Unconfirmed week is 49, means delivery won’t be until Jan I imagine...

Boooooo

So the only significant difference is the DSG, with your options not having been previously reported as hold up's and mine arrived at UK port in under 12 weeks, that's the thing for me....... inconsistency, unless of course, Hi volume dealers get preference? I only mention that because I went through a broker and they use just one dealer to get the high volume discounts...... unless of course you used one too.

I placed the order through DriveTheDeal but once they put you in touch with the main dealer who orders the car, you deal directly with the dealer :)

Still no news on my 1.8 Fr Dsg and I ordered on 5th July. I'm thinking of cancelling now and finding a different car with short lead times or maybe stock of cars eg a Mini Cooper S or something.

My broker is different, at no point have I had any contact with the dealer but the bulk buy thing clearly is not a barrier to your situation, the only tangible thing I can think of is that between my order and yours SEAT must have got an awful lot of RHD orders!

Did you have any additional options because again the DSG could be the denominator here as my non DSG 1.8Tsi was ordered 2 weeks after yours, something just does not seem right here, it's all well and good knowing that the Ecotsi is causing big delays along with the stock 17 inch FR alloys but even without them there appears to still be unacceptable delays.

I ordered an Urban silver 1.8 Dsg fr with 18" wheels and convenience pack, that's it. The ironic thing is I initially ordered a 184 tdi version of the same car which I cancelled and ordered the petrol instead but they let the diesel get built anyway and that came in a normal time frame ie around 12 weeks. I know this because they called me when it arrived because my name was still on the order. Beginning to wish I just stuck with the diesel lol

Again I can see no reason therefore that my car should take less than 12 weeks to arrive in the UK and yours is nowhere to be seen, were the wheels the machined alloys as there was a point where they were adding 6-8 weeks supposedly?

It's a Motability car and the wheels and convenience pack were included in the deal so I'm not 100% sure which ones they are but fairly sure it's not the machined variant. I'm assuming they are the ones that came on the pre facelift car as they are the cheapest 18" wheels listed but....?...

Ordered a 5 door cupra on the 2nd of August and have an unconfirmed build date of week 12.
Options I went for are adaptive cruise control, seat sound and keyless entry

Thank you.

I picked up my new Leon yesterday. The ACC is fantastic although I was worried the first couple of times if it was going to brake coming up to a stationary car! Will do a better photo when it stops raining!

Wow!! Looks great. Do you like it? Did it come with mats?

Ordered a cupra st 300 manual in mystery blue on 12th of august and was told it was on the ship last week and hoping for pick up next weekend (possibly earlier but only weekend is convenient for me):D

Nice one! Keep us updated.

Spoke to SEAT yesterday - still unconfirmed week 46. It should've been confirmed by now though, 4 weeks before apparently. The order has been accepted by the factory which had changed since last week. However, the lady reckons it might even be a February delivery. Told to call back for an update next week.

February!? Swear they just make it up.
